Heritage, ceramic & Ashes

Theme inspired by my rewarding placement at Santorini Island - Greece, in January 2020.

Beautiful, ancestral and remote fascinating place with  history and heritage. Impressive geography and geology due to volcanic eruptions in ancient times. The extreme volcanic activity created a textured scenery that has formed its natural architecture.

The vast history of Santorini preserves two prominent archaeological sites, the prehistoric city Akrotiri and the Ancient Thera.  Rich evidence of  exceptional artefacts, like pottery vases, tools, jewellery, fresco painting, etc. Archives that motivated a cultural journey to be translated into an innovative knit collection.
